The Quickium Gym gives the user the same experience a personal trainer offers to its student during the practice: increase the results in less time, reduce the risk of injuries, align expectations to reality, keep them motivated, among other benefits. All of this with modernness and more autonomy for the client. The Quickium Gym is a solution that uses artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques to detect the position of the user’s joints during the physical training. This way, the system is able to track in real-time the movements of the user, while analyzing:

  • Series amount icon The amount of series;
  • Repetitions amount icon The amount of repetitions;
  • Movement's rhythm icon The movement’s rhythm;
  • Posture icon The adequate posture;
  • Amplitude icon The movement’s amplitude, among other factors.

With these parameters, it is possible to generate performance reports, emit alerts in case of inadequate posture, help in the planning of trainings, among other possibilities.

How does it work?

The user is able to interact with the solution using a smartphone (Android/iOS), or utilizing the totems (equipped with a camera and a touchscreen monitor) sold by Quickium. The smartphone or the totem must be placed in a way that the camera is able to capture the user’s entire body during the exercises.

Access to the data

Utilizing the smartphone, the users can check their training, performance and request help from the trainers. On the other side, the trainers can manage their students’ practices, establish goals, track their progress and answer possible doubts.

Traffic Management

The solution also has resources to manage the traffic among users (very useful in gyms), checking the frequency each equipment is being used, predicting spikes in use and improving the ambient’s resources management. The Quickium Gym may be utilized in pilates classes, functional training, bodybuilding, physiotherapy sessions, between other categories of aerobic and anaerobic training.

The Quickium Gym was one of the winning projects of the first stage of the “OpenCV AI 2021”, an international competition in the Artificial Intgelligence sector, organized by the renowned companies Intel, Microsoft Azure and OpenCV. More than 1400 universities and companies from arounf the globe took part in the competition.
