Awarded on FINEP+ABDI Challenge Program
We got first place in the FINEP+ABDI contest. The program’s goal was to select and reward the 3 best and innovative technological solutions on the FINEP+ABDI Challenge (1st phase of the challenge). The developed solution was an Artificial Intelligence System for Monitoring Work Permits. The prizes include Accelerators and Incubators Programs, to be chosen by the companies placed in the first 3 positions in the competition.
CPQD Visitation to Initiate the Connectivity Tests for the OpenRAN@Brasil Program
On August 20, 2024, Quickium visited the Telecommunications Research and Development Centre (CPQD, in the Portuguese acronym), in Campinas – SP, with the objective of getting to know the environment where the 5G connectivity tests will take place for the Safe Watch AI solution, part of the OpenRAN@Brasil program. During the visitation, our team had the opportunity of presenting our pitch explaining the solution, highlighting its innovative potential. Besides, we got the opportunity to get to know the other startups taking part in the project and to explore the facilities where the tests will take place, reinforcing our commitment to the most advanced telecommunication technologies.
OpenRAN@Brasil Program
Quickium was approved in the OpenRAN@Brasil Program, a Brazil’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation initiative which aims to boost the development of the open networks ecosystem by the way of research, development, innovation and training in 5G technologies and applications. Focusing on the Industry 4.0, Quickium proposed workplace safety focused Computer Vision solution, utilizing concepts of Artificial Intelligence. Quickium was approved in the Finep + ABDI Challenge Program – in which we submitted a solution focused on Industrial Workplace Safety, utilizing Artificial Intelligence to monitor Work Permits. This module allows for monitoring work in high places, in tight spaces and in hot temperatures. Among its uses, the system may be utilized to check if safety protocols are being followed accordingly in the industrial plants with the purpose of preventing accidents in the workplace. This program is supported by Nestlé, where the solution is undergoing its test phase in one of its facilities.
TIM 5G Challenge - 2021/2022
Quickium was selected to take part in the “TIM 5G Challenge”, a challenge focused on using 5G technology with solutions for agribusiness. The project, which focuses on workplace safety and utilizes artificial intelligence and computer vision, was selected to run with 5G technology and will give us access to TIM’s Research Center, in Rio de Janeiro, for proof of concept.

We participated in the Petrobras public notice in the following category: Process Optimization and Automation – Challenge 10 – “Increase the efficiency of maintenance in laboratory equipment, such as chromatograph, spectrometers, permeabilimeter, analyzer and tomograph”. In which we submit our CLQuickium solution, being the company selected for the challenge.
OpenCV AI 2021 – 1st Phase Winners
Quickium was one of the finalists of the “OpenCV AI 2021”, a competition in the Artificial Intelligence area, organized by the companies Intel, Microsoft Azure and OpenCV. More than 1400 universities and companies worldwide took part in the challenge.
The competing project focuses on “Health and Fitness”, by developing a solution able to correct inadequate posture and movements during the physical practice using Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision.
IoT Challenge | Technology Hub Brasil 2019
The CLQuickium solution was one of the chosen to take part in the 4th edition of the “IoT Challenge”, which assembles 10 projects in the Technology Hub Brasil 2019. The event addresses themes like Internet of Things, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, House Automation and Industrial Internet of Things.
CPqD, ITS, Fórum IoT, Mackenzie and USP and new partners have joined the project in this edition.
DevPira Festival 2019
Supported the DevPira Festival’19, an event focused on the technology’s ecosystem, development and innovation, based in Piracicaba’s Technology District.
The conference was an initiative of the DevPiracicaba community with AgTech Garage, Piracicaba’s Technology District, Pecege and Pulse Hub de Inovação.
